The assessment and benchmarking process is designed to be carried out at the mine site level, by a leadership team possibly coming from the WHS committee and supported by company champions. There is strong evidence that teams develop their own cultures under local leadership influences. With appropriate training and support, we believe mine site personnel can be assisted to evaluate their own culture and performance, set a future direction and develop and implement an action plan to address gaps and level off the strengths.
